Wendy came to me to develop a logo for ‘herself’ – to represent the work she does that sits independently from the other two businesses that she owns and runs – MiY Workshop and MiY collection. We wanted to link this new logo with the existing MiY branding which both featured dressmaking scissors. The result was a pleasing use of the scissors within the logotype.
“I gave Ellen some key words and ideas of the image I wanted the portray with the logo, she did lots of research which she presented to me at an interim meeting to focus on which direction to go. This was difficult as all Ellen’s ideas were brilliant, but there was one stand out idea which she developed and resulted in a fabulous new logo. I was very very happy with the results. The logo exceeded all my expectations and still draws admiration from my followers, customers and peers in my industry.”
